At the first mediation the defendants offered $2,000,000 to settle the case. The offer was rejected. Judge Eskin requested the services of R.A. Carrington to mediate. Mr. Carrington sat through pretrial motions and repeatedly engaged the parties over a period of about 10 days. Mr. Carrington was ultimately able to bring about a full and complete resolution of all claims for the sum of $7,000,000. His efforts were extremely effective.
